Does This Breed Come In a Long Coat?
Well I saw the most beautiful dog the other day. I knew for a fact while with it that it was a Belgian Malinois. Talk about stunning! That dog was soo beautiful. So anyway I looked it up awhile a go but I noticed that all the pictures of Belgian Malinois are short coated? The dog I saw was long coated well not long like a Afghan Hound but medium coated. Like half the length of a Afghans coat. Anyway do they come long coated?

Just remembered! I think it was the mane area that was long and the legs as well. The whole body wasn't long coated only the neck area and the legs. It was kinda like a mane on a lion.
Chaos: It looked just like that but the body was short coated, the mane area was long coated, all the legs and the tail as well.

Are you sure it was a malinois and not a tervuren.

mals are always short coated, i don't think there is a long coated gene in the breed.
