A cat has been eating/killing my baby chicks and eggs. What to do?
it's killed almost 30 and a countless number of eggs.
animal control wont come out here, and i don't want to kill it
is traping it my only option
I take it that its a wild or feral cat you are talking about? Are the birds actually yours? If they are yours an enclosure could be built to protect them from predators, otherwise keep watch 24hrs as the cat will keep returning. Keep on to animal control.
