How hard is it to learn to crochet?
I'm wanting to learn how to crochet barbie clothes fairly quickly, so how hard should it be to get the basics down and start?
I learned at age 10, and I thought it was easy. That was a while ago, and I have crocheted lots of Barbie clothes since then for a daughter and two granddaughters.
There are books--I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting! is one that's reasonably priced and widely stocked at Michael's, Wal*Mart, A C Moore, and others. The back pages of any crochet magazine on the newsstand will have the basic stitches.
