how to crochet a shell please?
hi!!
im trying to crochet my baby's christening gown, and i found one online that i love!! but i dont know how to make the shells in line, please look the link with the dresses picture and i hope somebody can explain me.

It looks like you would
row 1: sc 1, ch 1.
row 2: Then dc 1 in first sc. (skip 2 ch 1 spaces, dc 10 in the next ch 1 space. skip 2 ch1 spaces, dc 1 in sc space.) Repeat the parenthesis
row 3: sc the whole row.
Then repeat all rows again.
I'm not sure if this makes sense, or if it will look exactly the same. Just make sure that you are making the sc1 ch1 alligned vertically so the shells are stacked. And also make sure the dc 1's are all alligned. Good luck!!
You test it by making a small sample with about 4 shells across to see if it will work.
