well things must be legal. I don't agree that all, (notice i say all) monsters have to be the same but as your deck gets better and better you will notice that there is a common theme. Without noticing it your monsters will tend to be one thing or another. the only decks that monsters can be different is a beat down deck. also its not the deck it's the duelist. If someone sucks i can pick up spare cards and build a deck and win, also there are way to many traps needs to be between 6-8 and more magic cards to help you out.
